The AFS Stream is an instinctive freeride wing, designed to deliver a smooth and versatile ride across disciplines such as freeride, freefly, waves, and even freestyle. While it shines in the hands of intermediate and expert riders, it remains accessible for beginners, thanks to its well-balanced power distribution and forgiving handling — making it a great wing to start and grow with.
Its lightweight and responsive design combines the nervous feel of the Dlite Boom with the stability of the Diamond V2, offering about 70% Dlite Boom and 30% Diamond V2 feeling. This unique blend results in better control in overpowered conditions and an easy, natural tack: the wing transitions effortlessly from one side to the other, letting riders focus fully on carving with the foil.
The Aramid-reinforced leading edge boosts rigidity, limiting deformation during strong winds or pumping phases, while keeping the overall weight low. The UPE material replaces Dyneema, bringing a touch more flexibility for better gust absorption and lighter feel, while reducing costs and improving performance.
The PE Ripstop Bi-Grammage canopy balances stability and lightness: a higher-density fabric on the upper section maintains canopy tension, while a lighter-density fabric on the trailing edge reduces weight and improves responsiveness.
The Stream is also exceptionally versatile. Ultra-light in the hands, it feels effortless for surf freefly, yet remains sharp and reactive for freestyle tricks. Paired with its clip-on wishbone system (identical to the Dlite’s, now available with AFS branding), it ensures maximum precision, maneuverability, and comfort.
Sizes : with wings available every 0.5 m², riders can build the perfect quiver. For example, a 75 kg rider will cover most conditions with a 5 m² and 3.5 m² combo, while those seeking finer tuning can opt for three wings spaced 1 m² apart for even more adaptability.
