The PRO – Ultra High Modulus Carbon Mast is fundamentally different from conventional industry masts. Building on the impressive performance and stiffness of our existing carbon mast program, the PRO – Ultra High Modulus Carbon delivers an incredible 55% increase in stiffness and exceptional torsional rigidity compared to the industry-standard 19 mm alloy mast. For reference, our Power Carbon and Power Carbon High Modulus masts offer 25% and 35% increases respectively — making the PRO a clear step above.
Not only is it significantly stiffer, it is also thinner and narrower, featuring a 12.5 mm chord reduction in the lower half of the mast compared to our carbon electric masts, along with a 1.5 mm thickness reduction, resulting in just 13.5 mm thickness in the critical lower section where performance matters most.
What truly sets this mast apart is its radically new, non-conventional foil section. Unlike traditional foil sections that tend to “lock in” as speed increases, the exclusive PRO Mast foil section positions its widest point further back on the mast. This allows for freer rotation at any speed, delivering a more fluid, dynamic feel. While our simulations predicted 20% less drag, nothing prepared us for the mast’s exceptional glide, speed, and turning capability, unlike anything we had experienced before.
As the name suggests, the PRO – Ultra High Modulus Carbon is constructed using military-grade ultra high modulus carbon materials. While these materials increase production costs, they deliver the ultimate riding experience for riders who demand uncompromising performance.
The mast is supplied with a premium custom protective mast bag and is fully compatible with all AXIS foil systems. Available sizes include 720 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, and 1050 mm, allowing riders to tailor their setup to any discipline or condition.
