Meet the DART, a shorter, more playful SUP designed to perform across a wide range of conditions and ability levels. This board redefines versatility — compact enough to travel anywhere, yet fast, stable, and responsive in every situation.
The design goal was clear: keep it short without sacrificing speed or takeoff ease. Thanks to its refined rocker line and bottom contours, the DART accelerates effortlessly, lifting off smoothly despite its compact dimensions.
Stability was also a key focus. Shorter boards often compromise here, but by incorporating a flatter bottom in the standing and tail areas and widening the tail and overall outline, the DART delivers a surprisingly steady platform without losing agility.
In flight, its stubbier design makes it incredibly nimble and reactive, allowing tighter carves, better foil control, and a perfect fit in smaller bumps while downwinding or in the pocket when surfing. The concave deck enhances the “locked-in” feeling, giving riders total confidence and connection to the foil.
Borrowing proven elements from the MAKO, the DART features vertical rails, extra tail rocker for stability, and a displacement hull nose for improved glide and acceleration.
Tailored for short-period downwind runs, wave riding, and even light-wind wing or parawing sessions, the DART’s compact, travel-friendly design makes it the perfect board to take anywhere — unlocking fun, flow, and freedom in all conditions.
Each Frank board is hand-finished, meaning no two are alike — every DART carries its own unique character and craftsmanship.
